Personal IMAP Accounts in Sugar

Hi all,

Apologies if this is a really silly question, but I am a newbie working with SugarSuite Open Source, and would really like to get to grips with it so I can start offering it as a possible system to my clients.

I've got an install done and really like it, but in this demo case I also have Dovecot on the same server (it's a demo before you comlpain, and it's handy to have everythign on the same box in this case!) running IMAP services for email. I'm trying to work out how to assign IMAP mail boxes to individual accounts, so for example the user 'bon' in SugarSuite would pull email from the IMAP mail box 'bon'. That mail should never be shared with other users (law in this case prevents that, unless specifically allowed by the sender).

I've really trawled around looking for some guides on how to associate SugarSuite's My Inbox to a certain IMAP account, but in this case I really can't find any place where I can RTFM. Can anyone please give me any pointers?

Currently, email mailboxes are for groups only - sales teams, marketing etc - and assigned to individuals from there.

However, the next cersion shold have what you want - thre's a preview in one of the other forums.

Ok, thanks for the advice Steve. I need the groups function, but also need to assign private mail boxes.
