    Default Phone Number Search Help!

I loaded Search101.zip from Ken Brills site with the module loader and followed the video tutorial. This is great, Thanks for the lesson Ken!

The search functions work great, exactly as it should. The problem is that I need the UnifiedSearch to use the same principals. This searches all the modules instead of just one.

I am using this to do the browser pops with isymphony to bring the contact, lead or account up on an incomming call.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

The unified search should use the same principals if you edit your SearchFields.php file correctly I think. At least that why I created that file in the first place, to hook an instance up to Asterisk and allow the phone numbers to be found no matter what format they are in.

Please tell me more about what you are doing and what you need for it to work and maybe I can help.

I installed the Search10.zip on my system. I then followed the video you made to edit all the contact, accounts, leads to change the field types to numeric instead of default as you instructed.

When I do a phone number search in any of the modules advanced search tabs it does not matter what number format I use it finds the records by phone.

But if I go up to the upper right corner (the unified search) of Sugar in the search nothing comes up unless the phone number is exact. I am sure that I just need to edit a file to do the same but I cant figure out which one and how.

My end use is that I am using a program called isymphony it is similar to HUDlite (except HUD lite makes you pay for pro for this function) to do screen looks ups from asterisk. You put in a URL and it sends it to the browser.

For instance a call comes in on my phone, the program puts the raw caller id in the below URL, the the accounts will pop up any matchs. It will work with the contacts whatever URL I plug in there:

    http://192.168.1.151/crm/index.php?s...&button=Search

I want it to search contacts, accounts, and leads for phones at the same time as any phone could be any one of these. So I think if it the callerid went in the below URL it would find any matches in any record:

    http://192.168.1.151/crm/index.php?a...BER%+&x=15&y=4

Maybe there is a better way to do this but this would work if I could get the number in the UnifiedSearch to strip the numbers as you did in the other ones

I hope this is clear and you can help. Thanks

Is it possible to search with a wildcard?

    my phone numbers are save as (02) 234 23456 or 040 400 400

When i search for 234 there is no result.

Is it possible to search like this?

    Thanks

i found out i can search wild card with %
But it works only directly in sugar search field.
    In url it doesn't work.

Could anybody help me setup a URL that could search with wild card in sugar phone numbers.
I would like to enter this URL in FreePbx so it could retreive CallerID from Sugar.

Any other way to do this? Maybe mysql query?

    Thanks
