I have an install of SugarCRM on Ubuntu 9.04 server. I need to re-compile the PHP install to include Freetype. I have looked at the config used to do the current compile and it referes to /bitrock as the base directory. I am assuming that this is created and removed as part of the stack install.

Question: how do I recompile the PHP without breaking Sugar??
