Hey everyone, especially the devs,

I'm creating a synchronization system that puts emails from our email system into SugarCRM via SOAP, and assigns the email to the recipient of the email, but as I've seen it mentioned elsewhere, the assignedTo attribute is not used for access control but only for convenience. This is a problem if we are going to have emails being synchronized.

My question is this: how hard would it be to patch the Emails module so that it would always check the asignedTo attribute or a new custom column in the database?
