I'm trying out the actual demo version of sugarcrm pro. I do so, because I'd like to find out the functionality of the reporting module matching to my company's requirements.

For that issue I added a custom field to the accounts module.
A simple dropdown with 2 options in it. I checked "reportable"
When I create a new report, I do not have that field for selection.

For further testing purpose I took the system account field named "type". I changed it's dropdown relation to my custom dropdown. On creating a report I can select the original type field, but in the filters section the items are the original items of the originally related dropdown box.

Is that hard coded?!

Is that a problem of the demo version? At this point I have to say, that the buggy functionality that I have seen as long in the demo version wouldn't match to my company's requirements at all.

Can anyone tell me, what is going wrong here?
