Problem receiving mail with attachments

Looking around the forums, I am beginning to suspect that there are major problems with Sugar handling attachments that are received from an IMAP account... is that a correct assumption?

We have an inbound mail schedule which checks two IMAP accounts and pulls the mail into the Group Inbox... this works fine, although it misses of any attachment from every mail that comes in.

Presumably this isn't what is supposed to happen?

Actually, attachment do not work very well... We are waitting for a stable version or commercial version (conflict in fact with compagny wich propose open-source and commercial version...). It is why I do not use the email client and make SugarCRM a good tool but without communication !

One of the reasons I'm using Sugar is to receive mail sent to our support email address, without attachments, it's not particularly good... does anyone know if I will get a better email functionality if I upgrade from PHP 4.4.2 to PHP 5.X?
