Default Problem with Setting up Emails

Warnings: Inbound Email cannot function without the IMAP c-client libraries enabled/compiled with the PHP module. Please contact your administrator to resolve this issue.

This is the error I get when trying to go in and setu p emails. I am still reading the Admin & User manauels and hope to be done this week with both.

How do I fix this - in layman terms - as I am not a programmers by far, although I can do a little. Also how do you kill off an employee OR user from the system - I see in the drop down where it has terminated -but not delete...

I can get to Monitor New MailBoxes - BUT the system will not let me input or edit anything in this screen - still gives the same error. IMAP - is there something I haven't installed?

These few questions I am sure are among many more to come.

Any help here would be wonderful - I appreciate it very much,

First you need to post more information about your installation to get help. The reason is that there are major diffrences between versions and platform specific issues. The post here is a good read on how to post and get a response to problem. http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10986

Another good resource is the wiki at http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/

Also by posting in a fourm that is appropriate. for example when you need help on a specific problem use the help fourm as those are monitored to answer questions by SugarCRM and the Community.

I hope this information helps you. And welcome to the Sugar Community. There is also in the works an online developer and user groups. There will be webinars for trainning in development, administration, and end users in order to better understand various subjects concerning sugarcrm.
    Cheers,
