problems with new created contact fields

Hi there,
WIth the help of studio I've changed the layout of the contact module in sugarcrm. I've added some new fields and he basic information of all of my contacts is now located in new created fields.

Now I got some questions:

1) Can I somehow delete the original fields? Not just clear the layout (you simply drop them into the bin) but delete them from the wohle systesm.
2) When I go to the contact module, I can't click anymore on the fields I have created. They are not highlighted and thus I have no access to the detailed view. The only way to get there is via the edited view. I first have to edit an already existing contact and then save it again in order to access to the detailed view. Is there a way to also click on the new created fields and thus to access to the detailed view?
3) As I have created a new field for first_name and last_name, I don't fill anymore the already existing fields that were created for that purpose. That's why in the shortcut of my contact there only appears "Mr" instead of "Mr Smith" or whatever, because the shortcut is still connected to the old fields and gets no information from them. The basic information of all of my contacts is located in new created fields. So I want to make the shortcut get the information from the new fields.

Hi,
Sorry but why you delete "out-of-box" fields and create same field ?
You kill many "back-end logic".
Contacts module is a great module, you need to add some extra fields, use Studio.
You will have some field clicklable, use listview.defs and add "link => true"

You wil customize "Mr FirstName LastName", use system preference in admin panel (for whole system) or your preference
