Problems with SSL?

Hi i'm currently having some problems configuring Sugar to run under a SSL Environment

I've made the changes required to the config.php to point it to a https address and also made sure SSL = true. the server itself is configured to run under SSL and yet sugar will only run under the http IP address. Is there anything blatantly obvious that I have missed?

Open config.php and replace any instance of http:// with https:// like the site_url key.

tried that, all http instances changed to https, yet the issue still remains,
