    Default Problems when using Select All Records and Export to excell

    I am having problems when I use the option to select All Records from leads module and if I try then to Export it to Excel it exports a blank file with nothing in it.

    I have increased these options:

    max_execution_time 300 300
    max_file_uploads 20 20
    max_input_nesting_level 64 64
    max_input_time 300 300
    memory_limit 128M 128M

    I am having same issue in all of my 3 SugarCRM's.
    They are all community editions.

    A workaround could you configure a significant number of records displayed per page, and then make partial exports. I don't know exactly how many records do you have, but I have sure that with just a few exports you should be able top have all of them.

    That's what I have been doing as a work around. I set the records to 1000 instead of 20. I need to export anywhere between 3000 and 5000 sometimes more records. It also slows the Sugar down quite a bit as I do that and I would rather that Export feature worked when selecting all records.

    The feature in itself works fine if I go page by page and select just records on that page and go to next and so on and so on and then export. It doesn't work if I select ALL.

    In order to export so many records you need to edit your php.ini and increase values for attributes memory_limit and max_execution_time.
    memory should be 512MB or greater, time should be 120 or greater.

    I have increased memory_limit to 1024M
    max_execution_time is set to 300

    Still not doing it. I created a phoinfo() file so after I made changes to php.ini i make sure it reads the correct php.ini file and it reflects the changes I do there, however Sugar still not working as it should.

    I believe this amount of records is so much to SugarCRM to export at once.
    Take a look into error log of your web server to figure out which error is happening.
