    Default pulling data from joomla table

    Hi,

    I'm new to sugar crm. I would like to know if there is a way to pull in data from a joomla database table and display that content in sugar crm.

    Yes, there are different approaches one can use to accomplish this. The complexity will vary depending on how you want it to work.

    I just want to get user data from a joomla table and be able to do reporting in sugar crm based on that data. I do not want to overcomplicate it. how would I go about that? The simplest approach possible.

    Ok, that only brings up a number of other questions. For one, how are you generating the report? If you are using the built-in reporting tool, you'll have to insert the Joomla data into one of Sugar's tables, or the report engine won't see it.

    If you are using ZuckerReports and Joomla is on the same server, you should be able to use a query template to query both data sources.

    I just realized I hade ZuckerReports. And the querying works. Thanks for the heads up on the ZuckerReports
