Putting data into a custom table in sugarCRM database

Hi,

I have created a custom table in my sugarCRM database. I am planning to put some data into this table through PHP as soon as someone is logging into the system.

I can see that index.php contains code for starting a sugar session. After the user submits his username and password, which script the application executes to verify the user? May be I should write my code here.

Please advise.

If im not mistaken the file you need to edit is AuthenticationController.php

modules/Users/authentication/
