question about roles

I just installed sugarcrm 5.0.3 and i have a question about the roles:

-Can i have a role that allows me give a user or a group of the listing privilege to one specific module for exemple nt to another?

Yes

A role may affect the access to a group of users to specific actions on specific modules.
A new created role enable all actions to all modules (obviously non-admin only modules).
Then you can restrict the actions of the modules independently according to your needs.
Then add users into the role.
