    Post Record-dependent form's layout

    Hi Guys,

I 'd like to customized some forms in sugar, for example, if I choose the product A I'll see the fields X and Y, if I choose the product B I'll see the fields W and Z.
    How can I do that?

    Cheers,
    Anto2C

It depends on how simple the requirements are. For one or two fields like this, you may be able to use the "customCode" attribute in the editviewdefs.php to achieve this result. For more complete situation you should probably override the core EditView and roll your own solution.

There is an article in the Sugar Wiki on the "model view controller" archictecture that explains a lot of this.
