Recurring Tasks

How would I go about creating a recurring task. I've looked in the manual and can't find it. Is it a feature yet or is this one for the feature request file?

Yes - it does not exist in Sugar OS or Pro/Ent. In our Info At Hand version we have developed recurring meetings and invoices, and it seems we should add recurring tasks as well

Hi,

We've solved the same issue in another product by a simple trigger that fires whenever a certain condition is met. You might want to add some custom fields that define your conditions (how often, when, which owner etc.) and let the trigger do the rest. Warning: triggers have a tendency to get in each others way. So this is again a work-around and not a nice and fancy solution. as described above.
