    Default referential integrity ??

    I have been messing around with some things in the CRM. So for intstance - I created a lead - then converted to an account and issued a quote.

    If I delete the account - it leaves an orphaned quote ?.

    Is this throughout the system ?. seems very strange to me to not have any integirty here that checks to see if you have child records before it allows you delete ---

    thanks.

    Yeep, unfortunately that's the way it is at the moment.

    I also can't think of any reason why this issue should be addressed by sugar.

    @Sugar, any takers?

    Surprising - very - that this was not built into the product - especially the commercial version. But it seems as though its almost everywhere in the system. I would love to know the logic behind this.

    Sugar provides no public information as to the philosophy of the product or a detailed road map, but I believe to have read somewhere sometime that it's not a design-by-choice, but more a feature on the to do list.
