Relationship between custom modules

Hello people,

Got a new question, I hope any of you've done this before!!!!

I have module "A" related with the Accounts module and I also have module "B" related to module "A",
and some of the fields in module "B" also exist in module "A".

The questions are:
1. How can I populate the fields from module "B" with the corresponding data from the fields
in module "A", so that when I create a new record in module "B" I get fed into some of the fields of this
module (in the edit view) the data of the corresponding record from module "A" ???
2. How can I block the fields from module "B" so that the data populated from module "A"
can't be changed when creating a new record??

...I hope this can be done easily!!!

Is this possible to be done or not??, and that's why I haven't gotten any answer!!!!
I can't believe that nobody knows if this is doable!!!, ...come on, say something!!!!
