Remove message "Error: Could not connect to the Sugar Server ..."

Hi all,

Sugar is hosted on a server which have no internet access.
Occasionally, this error message appear on my homepage :
"Error: Could not connect to the Sugar Server. Please check your Proxy Settings value in the System Settings admin panel. Last attempted connection @ ..."
I would like to get rid of this message, how can i do ? I don't want to get an internet access on my Sugar Host.

Goto Admin>System Settings and make sure that the proxy server isn't configured.

Also, goto admin>Sugar Updates and make sure the 2 check boxes are unchecked

What about dashlets "Discover Sugar" and "Sugar News" on the Homepage ? Can I remove them for all users by configuration ?

Nope but if you go here, there's a method to get rid of these extremely useful (NOT!!!) dashlets

Be aware that this is not upgrade safe so they may come back when you apply patches.

Otherwise, you have to kill them on a user by user basis .... which is a pain in the nether regions!!!

Hi all,

I have also a connection problem on my admin home page. There's a frame called "Administration: Home" which try to connect to internet. How can i remove it or prevent it to connect to internet ?
