Looking for some clarification on a 'feature' we have found in SugarCE 6.1.4
We've just started looking into imported emails against accounts using an IMAP connection to our mail server. The IMAP connection works fine, a bit slow, but works, and we can reply via it to the senders OK.
However, it appears that once an email has been imported to Sugar and associated with an account any replies to that email thread are automatically having the primary email address of the account silently added to the recipient list!
Some of these emails we wish to track against accounts (or opportunities/contacts) but are discussions regarding them not to include them. Is this WAD? If an email has been attached to an Account will that Account's Primary Email address always be included in replies? Is there any way to turn it off?
I can understand the logic behind it, but it would be far better to get a Yes/No prompt asking if the Account Contact should be included if they aren't already. A lot of discussion regarding Accounts/Customers could be sensitive in nature and not destined for their ears but we would still wish to store it against the account.
Mark.
