Anyone have opinion about modules for reports generation?

I know two: Kinamu and Zucker. Any more?

What is the best?

SugarCRM PRO has a very good reporting, integrated the best way in SugarCRM. You need no additional instalallation, no effort on updates .

I saw it from the cost point of view.

To install Zucker is a little bit complicated and the result is not the perfect solution at all.

Kinamu is more near to Sugar, but it is not a reimplementaton of Suagr reporting.

So in some cases (small installations) SugarPRO can be the cheaper solution. In other cases (1000 users) it will not....

At the moment I do not know other free reportings for SuagrCRM.

ZuckerReports is based on Jasper Reports and as such can create any report that JasperReports can.
It has no facility for end-user report construction, besides parameter entry. IMHO installation is straightforward and the forums can help.

Kinamu Reports gives a SugarPro looky-like interface for creation of reasonably complex list reports (no Charts) but not to Pro's complexity. Kinamu also offer a paid premium version which claims enhanced Chart and Group report support.

I tend to use acombination of both Zucker for complex canned reports and Kinamu for ad-hoc and target list reports.
