Restrict user to view only his assigned accounts/contacts etc

When an admin assigns some of the Accounts/Contacts to a particular user, why is the user allowed to see all of them in the list ?

you need to restrict that by setting a role to the ordinary users

hello,

by default, all users can view, edit, delete all records in the system. Roles must be created by the admin user in order to restrict user permissions. If you want your users to only be able to view records that they are assigned to, you will need to create a role and set List, View, Edit to 'owner' for that module.
