Roadmap?

Hi all! Longtime salesforce.com user here thats looking for a change. $15k/yr in hosting fees is getting a little steep for our small business.

I've been watching the rapid development of Sugar since about version 2.0, and with 4.2, it looks like the Pro version might just satisfy the bulk of our needs. My question is this... is there a future development roadmap that I can review prior to making a final decision to jump onto the Sugar bandwagon? I can't seem to find one....

Hi Rick, from the short time I have been watching Sugar it would seem the the devs will often put out a call for a list of improvements/feature requests and then respond by rolling them (potenitally) into the next release. At least that the way it appears to me. Handy if you need to change tack quickly but hard to guage where this software is heading, from memory I think 4.5 is due may/june and is supposed to be incorporating some MS code. Not sure what the outcome from this will be.

Yes, $15k is a lot in hosting fees
