    Default SalesFolder for SugarCRM

I installed this version of SalesFolder on my computer:
    http://www.sugarforge.org/projects/salesfolder/

However, this does not sync with Suger 5.2. I contacted InvisibleCRM, and they said that they were no longer supporting SugarCRM, and that I should contact Sugar. Does anyone on this board no anything about the situation here?

Are there other solutions that you can recommend? Is it possible to lobby support for this Module?

    Thanks
    -Jon

OK ... IMHO anything that's not platform neutral misses the direction the wind is blowing. End of rant

What is it you are trying to do? ... understanding the requirement helps to make suggestions as to possible solutions.

We scan a bunch of client documents in. We would like an easy way to attach these client documents to client accounts in Sugar.

The nice thing about SalesFolder is that it put a dropbox on your desktop. From there it created a separte folder for each account that you could drag multiple files into. This is a lot faster than browsing to the client account in Sugar, and attaching there.

I believe KnowledgeTree also has a similar tool. I really like SalesFolder because it did exactly what I thought I needed.

There's a SugarForge project that integrates KnowledgeTree and Sugar ... it's the same guys that do zuckerreports ... but the project hasn't been updated in a while ... so you could try here

Yeah, I liked the fact that I didn't have to bring another system into Play. SalesFolder imported documents directly into Sugar, I believe.

Is anyone aware of another project that does something simliar? I guess because SalesFolder is proprietary software that only uses Web Service Calls, it isn't covered under GPLv3. Is anyone aware of an open source alternative? This should be a very common need.
