    Question Search issues when altering views in studio

    Sugar CRM 5.1b
    hosted on siteground.com

    I made some changes to the "list view" in leads and then the global search would not work at all anymore.

    I was able to run search under the leads tab.

    Finally i reset back to the original view and it worked again.

    Could anyone tell me why this happened?

    The first one is the one that works

    When i arranged things differently on the right version the global submit does not work at all.

    wierd huh.


    Also, on top i see "undefined" in RED flash, also when clicking save and deploy it flashed undefined.

    Any ideas?

    I was pretty shocked

    Hello,

    i think i found the source of your problem. I noticed that you did not have the Account Name field displayed in the list view in your second screenshot (acct_name_from_accounts). By just removing the Account Name from the 'Default' (and making no other changes), the global search for a Lead that I saw in the system no longer worked.

    I have logged bug 26754 for this issue. In the mean time, I suggest throwing in the Account Name field in the list view.
