Search leads via description source not working

I have added the "description source" to my advanced search screen via admin-studio-leads-layouts-search

I have some leads that have the term "12 sunshine" in their lead source descriptions.

The problem I have is that using the new lead source description search box, it will not find leads if I type "sunshine" but will only work if i type "12 sunshine"

Just like other text fields in the search panels, the system searches for any records whose field begins with whatever search term you entered, not fields which contain the word. In order to search for records which contain the keyword, you must use the wildcard: %

so instead of searching for the term 'sunshine', search for '%sunshine'
