I was messing around with SugarCRM Version 4.0.0 and I have not found, if it exists, the capability to search inside descriptions. For example, I would create a new contact, bug, or project and in them I would type in a description like "this guy is wierd", "i found the solution after a google search", and "this project is low priority", respectively. After performing a seacrh using keywords like "wierd" or "google" or "priority" the contacts, bugs, and projects do not turn up in the results, even if I use the search tool on the specific module. Essentially, I would like to be able to either specify what database fields to perform the search on or would like the search tool to search more than just the number, name, or subject of the categories, including but not limited to contacts, bugs, projects, tasks, calendar entries.
I wanted to post here first to see if the feature exists and I'm just missing it, otherwise, I will put it into the Feature Request forum. If I had the time and resources to do so, I would look around in the code and make the changes I need to perform the type of search.
