Has anyone found a reasonable way to search the forums?
Countless times i've tried to find things on the forums and can't mostly because the more specific you are the more noise you get in the search results...
#1 problem is not being able to use quotes for an "EXACT match"...
This would help greatly in trying to finding a specific error message...
or most recently... How do you set "Display Grand Total" to false by default in the quote module... Try searching for "Grand Total" and you get all kinds of junk. It's a shame because i'm pretty sure someone else has asked that question.
Apparently, vBulletin has an EXACT MATCH feature but it's not turned on sometimes... which i believe is the case with this one.
#2 Tags are very hit or miss. Using common tags hasn't helped me very much.
I tried google and didn't have too much luck either... probably will give that another try though...
The only tip I have found that is useful is to limit the dates to more recent posts... but this too is hit or miss.

Anyways, am I missing something... Anyone else have any suggestions? Is there an export I can download and search on my computer using my own cpu resources... (Stackoverflow offers this)... Speaking of which I really wish the engine would be switched over to www.stackexchange.com that would be sooo great if people voted up answers and the community could edit.
