Send birthday alert

Hi! Is it possible to send automatic email or whatever alerts the day before a customer birthday? THANKS!

I think it is certainly possible although I don't think it can be done without writing your own code and using cron jobs, a custom .php script and a mailing class such as phpmailer.

This would follow under workflow I believe in the pro version but OS doesn't have that functionality. I believe the older versions (i.e. 4.5 ) had a custom workflow module but I dont know about it for 5.0.

I am still just figuring this all out myself so hoepfully some of the more seasoned members can shed more light on the subject.

Wanted to ask the way to setup sending of birthday email to customers on the date of their birthday.
I went through the campaigns, but couldn't find an option to schedule as per the b'day of the contact.

We had developed a feature which send an email containing a link to a ProspectList including all Contacts, Prospects, Leads and Users which has birthday in one of these 3 conditions:

Daily birthday: x days before a specified birthday
Weekly birthday: all birthday at the next week,
Monthly birthday: all birthday in the current month.
