Send Error on sent emails

We have been experiencing a "Send Error" on random emails that are sent through Sugar. It doesn't happen every time, and most of them go through but there is really no notification of ones that failed. Does anyone else have this issue? All our settings are correct, so this seems like its a SugarCRM glitch.

We did face the same problem. At one moment all mails used to fail.
But this problem is not coming now after we upgraded to the latest version. I think there is some problem with one of the versions of SugarCRM

I am using Version 4.5.1b (Build 1246) and cannot get a single email to send using SMTP or Sendmail. Please can someone help. I have re-checked all of the settings to ensure that they match those on my Outlook program but nothing works. this is a key element of the software and if you cannot send an email then the whole thing is pretty useless.

I would be very grateful for any help please....???

I had the same error - look at your user config Admin from Main Menu then User Management then select the user logged in and check Email options and outbound email settings. Failing that do a search for turning on debugging to find out what the reported error is (the error will be reported in a logfile called sugarcrm.log in your root directory.

Maybe it will work for you - hope so
