I hope that someone tells me I'm missing something.

1.) Need an easy way to search thru the 100 emails that I've received from a customer. I see the emails in the customer history, but there doesn't appear to be a way to easily search the history either. HELP

2.) Why am I only allowed to search thru the subject of an email and not the body?

3.) I would like to search thru all emails for any email account that I'm monitoring.

Please help by telling me that I'm missing something. I just want to pick up the server and throw it out the window.

Not you're not missing anything ... search is fairly limited ... if you need full search across the application you should look at the Lucene contribution in the forge ... it WILL require some technical knowledge to get it working but it works well.

Really? I am shocked by that.

Maybe I'm just not using the software are expected. If I get an important email from a customer that I hope to revisit in a day, a week, a month, or years later. What is the best practice for dealing with incoming emails?

When I use MS exchange for another project, I refer to old emails all the time by doing a search of subject/body/email address.

Should I handling incoming emails in a certain way?

We advise all our clients not to use sugar as their primary email client ... it's not good enough ... continue to use your usual email client and archive important emails to sugar ...
