    Default Server Time Explained

Hi, still a bit confused on setting up timezones.

Server is located in CST -6 as well as myself.

What should the server time be set to? What should be user time be set to? If I set them both to CST -6 appointment invitations are 6 hours ahead.

If I set my timezone to Africa -/+ 0 hours then everything works, and that can't be right.

How do you go back and readjust the system time for the sugar?

First things first (and I'm not being sarcastic):
Exactly what is your server time?

If you have access to your server at command line, type: date

    Code:
    [mfinger@srv02 crm]$ date
      Thu Dec 15 01:31:40 EST 2005
If your server returns a CST time, is it the correct time?

Thanks for the concern, this has been verified as a bug that is fixed in 4.0GA.

All times are set to CST everywhere.

    Meetings work, calls are off.
