SkypeOut question/issue

I installed 5.0 GA and noticed the SkypeOut functionality tick box in System Settings. I activated this feature but am at a total loss as to how to use. I am running Sugar on Safari 3.0.4 OS X 10.5.1. Skype Beta for Mac 2.7.0.195

If Skype Out is activiated, Sugar will format phone numbers for Contacts as skype-formatted hyperlink so that you can click on them and make a Skype call to the Contact.

If you bring up a Contact record with a phone number within Sugar, are you able to click on the phone number to make a call via Skype?

I think I found the issue. I had not formatted the number to have the +1 country coed prefix.

My question now becomes twofold.
1. I there a way to add this prefix +1 to all existing customers?
2. Is there a way bypass this requireemt as I have my Skype setup up to automatically add this prefix?

I know of no auto-formatting option for SugarCRM phone numbers, although it is fairly easy to do - we added it on info@hand for just this reason, to make the out dialling for Skype, Asterisk/Trixbox, X-Lite work nice and easily. Someone could check out our design and build a little add-on for Sugar 5.0 CE that does the same.

This is the thing i dont use skype. I use this free program called VoipStunt. I tried adding the scripts to the file and it did nothing. Can you please help i dont ant to have to edit 30,000 leads by hand.
