Small organization that relies on donations can sugar help us?

Just wondering if there are any orgs out there using sugar for their needs. We a donation based, and need the basic set of features that fundraising software provides?
Please let me know if we can talk via email or phone so I can get a sense of how it is going and enduser experience as well.
