Default Social Network for CRM Users, Administrators and Developer

    Hi Sugar Community,

We were just wondering if you would be interested in participating in a Social Network dedicated to CRM systems available.

If there is enough interest, then we would add the SugarCRM community to our Social Network Website on:
    http://www.forceleague.com

    Membership is free of charge.

ForceLeague offers the same functionality you are used to from the big boys but with a dedication to CRM.

The platform is currently only catering the Salesforce community but we would be more than happy to take the Sugar Community on board as well.

    Let us know :-)

    Best Regards
    ForceLeague

Great, because there aren't enough social networks out there already.

Yes you might right that there are plenty of Social Networks out there.

There are plenty of forums out there as well and yet you are posting in this one.
Reason for this might be you are finding valuable information on here.

Hence this Forum makes sense for you and a public forum with a different topic wouldn't be of much help...

    Sames goes for Social Networks.

Facebook, MySpace and so on cater the broad public and are not of much value when it comes to CRM.

Thank you again for your constructive post.

Well there are a lot of forums and Groups out there true, but it still does not come anywhere near a fully dedicated Social Network.

As you obviously didn't even have a proper look, let's leave it with that.

If you are not interested, then feel free not to join.

I think salesagility's point is what sets this site apart from the rest? Where's the added benefit? It's a legit question that needs to be answered as most individuals don't have the time to check it out and see for themselves. How are you going to captivate me?

I agree, these are questions which need to be answered. Good point.

We are not trying to reinvent the wheel with ForceLeague.

The difference to other Social Networks is it's dedication to a specific group of people: CRM Users

While there are several Social Networks out there, people still open groups on each one, posting information which could be found quicker and easier on a one stop Network dedicated to the topic.

I can't tell you how many secluded groups I found while searching the sites available and how many good answers have been posted on forums all over the place.

    So the difference is: dedication
Benefit: saving time due to a one stop community

Additionally it could become quite interesting to have people who are using different CRM's under one roof.
It would allow members to get a better overview and insights into the different systems available.

From a marketing perspective I can see ForceLeague being useful for Trainers, Developers and other service providers cause they would reach a broader audience in less time with less effort.

Thank you for asking those questions to the point and I hope my answer "captivated" you ;-)

    Absolutely!!! .....

My New Year resolution is to cease reactionary, GOM (grumpy old man) mode and embark on the new, more helpful, less cynical SalesAgility Release 2.0.

    Don't hold your breath though!!

Salesagility, I anxiously await your next release... but do make sure you've thoroughly beta-tested your new persona on a select group of patient and tolerant friends before unleashing your new self to the world.

And, to quote your oft-mentioned advice, none of us should interact with you for AT LEAST the first six months of your "new self". I'll talk to you next June.

    Fell off my chair laughing

I'm not sure I can stay quiet that long though!
