Default Some awkwardness in navigating sub-panels

    Hi,

    (4.01e)

We have a situation where some accounts/contacts history sub-panels are getting quite big. Mainly large archived email conversations. That means that users need to go back through the paged history sub-panel to read pertinent history. However, once they read an older historical item and then return to the parent account (or contact), the history sub-panel is reset back to the first page - and they need to navigate back to the older history to read - say - the next note.

Does anyone know if the history sub-panel 'remembers' it's location in 4.2 - or if this feature will be available in 4.5? Or does anyone have any thoughts on implementing it?

Another option is to develop a 'hide-emails' button for the sub-panel.

    Thanks.

    Hi stevec

I couldn't exactly test your scenario due to lack of history information, but at least for the leads and email lists, the 4.2.0a Pro I have seem to remember the last opened page, even after logging out and logging in again. Does your version behave the same way?

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

confirmed it on the online demo too -

it remembers for high level lists (account, contact etc) but does not for sub-panel lists. in 4.2.
