Sugar 4.5.1h feedback

I've been actively using Sugarcrm over the last 2 weeks and have the following feedback.

Email handling on 4.5.1h is rather clunky.
- Some mails are not parse correctly and appears as a long string of code. (looks like a bunch of mime encoding stuff although its just a simple text mail)
- Forwarded emails are seen as eml attachment. It would be nice if that could be displayed inline.
- Sending mails with attachment doesn't always work. (even if it is less than the default 3Mb limit)
- Sending "Documents" as attachments seems to take as long as manually uploading an attachment. Perhaps that can be streamline since its already uploaded to the server.
- We cannot customize the list view to change fields to be displayed and column size.
I'm hoping that the new Ajax client is more robust and able to address some of the above issues.

Accounts
- Unable to resize the list view to have a wider description. It defaults to give acct name all the space while description is only 30 char+
- Search in general doesn't seems to work with wildcard. eg *test* won't list all accounts containing test in their name.

Contacts
- It has campaign field but that's not searchable. So I'm not sure what its function.

In terms of general useability, its great. But has its fairshare of rough edges to be smoothen out. I'm looking forward to the 5.0 release.

• Email has been completely revamped for 5.0 so it's worth checking out the new edition to see if it meets your needs. You can preview 5.0 by going to the demo generator page to create your own demo instance.
• To do a wildcard search, use the percent (%) symbol

Yes the % works well. Thanks for your reply. I've checked out the online demo... but nothing beats using it on a day to day basis. Then minor irritants becomes glaring enough to be pointed out
