Sugar 4 Mail Does Not Work

This is my second post to address this. My Sugar is setup to the instruction...exactly. I have setup a mailbox, testing the mailbox will find no mail at my ISP mailbox if there is no email. If there is email...nothing shows up. Since the instructions to Sugar are non existent on what happens to pop3 email....could someone who designed this software please please tell me how email is suppose to work because from what I can see ....you can send email but you cannot receive from your POP ISP.

good friggen luck getting any resolution with it. I am frustrated as hell with anything related to campaigns and email. All I want to do is setup a simple email blast to existing customers with substitution variables and there is a stupid issue at every turn. I have not been able to successfully set anything up and just have it work properly. Been through fresh installs, patches a - e, 4.0, even the 4.0.1 demo and NOTHING works properly. Either the email sends out but is blank or the email is populated but certain substitution variables don't work, people post misc fixes for things that don't get rolled into the patches so the stuff I fix that users here post get "un-fixed" when I patch Sugar.

It is even more irritating to post messages here over and over again and get ZERO help about these bugs.

Rant over. This is a great product, but for crissake, this is SIMPLE functionality a CRM suite should have.
