Hi,

we've upgraded an old installation of sugar on our Apple XServe. I had to compile a version of PHP 5.2.9 for Sugar to work, the version of PHP that came bundled with OSX would not run it.

Now all seems to work fine, except for one exception: Sugar is annoyingly slow. Loading pages seems to take forever! 10-20 seconds, sometimes more. This is of course perfectly unacceptable. I checked the web for hints and found only one hint about compile options for PHP, advice was to use --enable-experimental-zts on the PHP compile. This has not helped the situation, on the contrary.

I need some help getting this to run with acceptable speeds. We're using it heavily at them moment. Thanks!
