Hi there,
I guess itīs about the age, but I canīt find the option to disable the grouped modules navigation in 5.5GA.
In 5.2 it was an "User" option, not anymore in 5.5
And itīs not in the "Configure Tab Groups" either.
Where do i have to look?
Thx!

That's a damn good question ... looks as if it's moved permanently to a grouped tabs navigation .. shame really ... doesn't work as well when there are only a small number of modules per user![]()

That would be sad.
Proper process design leaves an end user with 5-6 modules in the navigation at max.
So in my eyes there is no urgent need for such a thing as grouping them.
Seems this is different in the rest of the world, otherwise it wouldnīt be there.

Ditto - we don't use grouping of modules and it's going to be a shame to remove the option not to use it.
I imagine there must be a way using a custom theme to do this at least. Hopefully! Grouped tabs doesn't work for all of our users either.

Have no fear, the option is not removed... it just migrated elsewhere in the user interface
On a per-user basis, the option to change between Module Tabs and Grouped Tabs can now be found in the Page Style link (see screenshot).
For a system-wide default, there's also a configuration parameter available in config.php to switch from grouped tabs back to module tabs:
'default_navigation_paradigm' => 'gm',
gm is grouped
m is module

Thanks - much appreciated.
Ahhh... ok.
Back in the days it wouldīve taken me 180 seconds of manic screen clicking to find out.
Today I gotta ask younger people for help...
Thank you!
[edit]
Iīve just tried the "Font Size Increase" A in the "Page Style" Popup, which made the option "Page Style" disappear completely.
Even changing the theme on the login screen doesnīt bring it back?
*wondering*
[edit2]
happens only while using a foreign language pack.
switching back to English brings back the "Page Style" link.
