Is Sugar compatible with IFS (Industrial and Financial Systems). Company is moving to IFS and the decision to keep Sugar depends on the compatibility with IFS. Here is IFS's website http://www.ifsworld.com/. Thanks.

If by compatibility you mean, are there pre-built solutions to link the 2 applications and have them share information with each other, the answer is no, but there are tools available that one could use to accomplish the task.
If instead, you mean, can the two systems co-exist, it is hard to say definitively without knowing IFS, but I can't think of a reason why one wouldn't be able to have Sugar on one server and another application on another, then access both of them from one workstation.

What have you found out yourself?
Our company has really kept IFS a secret and it is hard to learn anything about the capabilities except off of the company website. Until it goes live on January 1st it is hard to know anything.
In the future our CRM is going to have talk with IFS (our ERP system). What would be needed or how difficult would it be to have them share information? Would it be difficult to take 2 - 3 years of information in SAM and dump it into IFS if they are not able to share information? Thanks
The level of complexity will be highly dependent on your requirements for the interaction between the 2 systems.
In short, Sugar offers a SOAP API which can be used to programmatically insert and read data from a Sugar system. Via those tools, one could build an interface that allows for data to be moved from one system to another.
There are other options available as well, for example, Jitterbit.
Which tool is best will again depend on your requirements.
