Sugar CRM for Telemarketing

Hello,

I recentley installed Sugar CRM on my server and it is running fine.

My question is simple:

Is Sugar CRM the best choice for telemarketing based business?

After logging in and testing it i found some issues that make it somewhat cumbersome to use for my telemarketing purpose.

most of the time we take our numbers from the yellow pages or certain websites the ony information we have is usually the contact number (we dont initially have first last name etc)

I need to be able put leads in Sugar based on limited information then be able to call the leads and convert them to sales or dead leads.

I have spent extensive time trying to utulise it but am not sure if its the best choice OR if their is a telemarketing module available for the my SUgar CRM.

what about a SugarForge or SuagrEchange project.
I think telemarketing is a great challenge for SugarCRM in the momentary state.

- a flexible Scripting tools to manage guided calls for Agents
- Call Load Distribution based on rules
- monitoring on efficiency and effectiveness for Management
