Hello folks,
I need some help to see if SugarCRM will work out for my consulting business. I created a list of things that I need done and I'm hoping sugar will take care of it. Can you please help me out with some comments on the list below? Will it require Enterprise? Will Community work? Will Standard work? etc, etc...
- Project management of tasks for projects at clients. When I put clients on a program, I want it to be easy to tick off the steps as they are done. I want to easily track how they arrive at the product they want.
- Client profiles for all their data, including sensitive data.
- Ability restrict access to certain client data. Perhaps this could be done with levels, perhaps I need to give full access to a specific client. But I don't want every user to have full access to all of my clients; only the ones they are working on.
- Reminders for tasks that are approaching or things that should be done for clients such as thank you cards and such.
- Knowledge base of problems and solutions found at clients.
- Sales and promotional prospecting for potential clients.
- Ability to track calls and "reaches for service" by potential clients and continue following up on them.
- Ability to track who I've sent promo to already.
- Have everything run through HTTPS.
- Quoting project work to clients made easy. Not sure if this is outside the scope of Sugar, but what the heck. Might as well ask.
- Anything else you guys can see that I might need or haven't thought of would be much appreciated.
