    Lightbulb Sugar E-Marketplace

What do you think about there being an e-marketplace where users post their required modules / modifications and programmers post their bids to do the work.

If someone posts a lower bid then the original programmer might choose to adjust their bid down.

Then other users can post how much they are willing to pay until the combined sum reaches the bid amount.

Do you think this is useful and could it work?

Sort of a bit like Guru.com on steroids

    Does such a system exist?

I think it is a good idea, but the volume of posts in the classifieds section suggests that there isn't a huge demand, certainly nothing that the forum can't handle.

I know this is probably asking a bit much but it would be cool to see a list of internal and external tasks to be completed on Sugar. We could then work on things the Sugar team wasn't covering and more transparently prioritise the Sugar teams development. I am guessing though that this would be a bit scary for Sugar... but you know CRM is all about being customer focused and driven... :-) It would allow things like donations to focus on specific things too.

We've been thinking about extending SugarExchange to do this very thing. Good to see some validation of that idea.
