Sugar in non-profit health care?

Greetings. I'm an IT director and have been tasked with researching alternatives to our current consumer management system. We are a community based organization of and for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a regulated agency, meaning we must report to State and Federal oversight agencies. That said, our needs are more focused on "consumer" management (consumers being the disabled people we serve). We have no sales or marketing but do have specific areas we must keep track of and report on. So I guess i have a couple of questions. Is anyone using SugarCRM in this type of environment and if so, how is it working? How difficult was it to modify? Many thanks

It's not difficult to modify. You can use Studio or Module Builder for creating new modules or editing of exiting.
