Default Is Sugar Professional a open source if we bought it ?

    Hi!
We custom design for client, one of my client's need is basicly fit in sugar pro, but I need to know:
    1. Can we buy it and then, after customize for client, sell it to my client ?
    2. After we bought the Sugar Pro, do we get the full source code of it ?
    3. If client request us to remove the SugarCrm logo at the frontend, are we allow to do that ?

I am a newbie here, appreciated if anyone answer my question.

I think you would be better off having the client purchase the Pro License. Then you could charge your client for the customization.

You would have access to the source.

And of course - the Pro code is only licensed for a year. After a year, you need to pay your annual license fee again.

You can remove the Sugar logos at top left and right of the screen, but not the logo or copyrights and links at the bottom middle of each screen.

    Thanks.
I just don't understand if we buy Sugar pro, is it a open source ? or it is partial open source ?
How Sugar knows how many users you actually use ?

Sugar Pro contains a lot of code it shares with the Open Source project, and quite a bit of code that is only on a commercial license. And it contains a mechanism for controlling the number of users you can define within the system.
