Sugar on Spike Installation

I have installed SugarCRM v4 using Spike Windows installer but it doesn't seem to install all the files needed to run incoming POP3 email. Is there a fix for this or do I need to ditch this installation and do a manual installation of Apache, PHP and SugarCRM?

Hi all,

I encounter a issue with the scheduling the error message is the following:
This system does not have the cURL libraries enabled/compiled into the PHP module (--with-curl=/path/to/curl_library). Please contact your administrator to resolve this issue. Without the cURL functionality, the Scheduler cannot thread its jobs.

How can i compile this cURL library into the PHP module, is anybody have the correct procedure to do it.

Hi pkb. I had the same problem. Check out http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8065 for more info. In summary, yes, the spike install has a bug regarding inbound email. Best to do a manual install of Apache, PHP & SugarCRM.
