sugar spike problem

hi,
I downloaded and run the sugar spike for windows. After the installation, it failed to open the web page when I clicked start sugarcrm icon on desktop. I tried to open the Appache monitor through httpd/bin folder. It seems that no services are running on Apache server. Can anybody help me in this regard as I am a new bie. I followed all the instructions but the web page says 'page can not be found out'. Please help me to move on after the installation part. thanks in advance.

When installing you need to make sure you don't have another web server (e.g. IIS) running. It says this somewhere, but the text is not nearly as prominent as it needs to be. In any case, uninstall, shut down your web server, and reinstall and you should be fine.
