Sugar Will not Search

When i Try to search anything in the search box at the top right i get nothing found. I also get the same thing in advanced Search under the leads catagory. The only thing i can search by is last name..... Does anyone kno how to fix this.... I have About 1520 leads, so it is kinda of hard to look thruogh all of them. Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Make sure you do not have any trailing spaces after the value that you are searching for. I've seen this cause problems before.

i.e. Searching for "Angel" will yield results, but searching for "Angel<space>" will not.

Secondly, are other users able to find the records you are searching for?

No other users can not search for anything other than last name. I have about 170 other users. so it can get pretty hectic.
Also The trailing space is not the problem.

Does it work if you search for '%your_value%' ?

Have you checked the Sugar log for errors?

We also have this issue on our site when searching for a full name 'John Smith' finds nothing.

Search for either of the names on their own and loads of hits, but together nothing, and the contact does exist!

Same problem with opportunities. Seems search only tries to match against the first word.

When i try to export leads. it gives me an error.
