    Default Sugar5 Module

    Hi Folks,

I've created a custom Module in Sugar5... Then i created a new User who gonna use this Module (The new user is not an administrator)... After a login of the new user, and a klick on the new module in the navigation, i got this error "You do not have access to this area. Contact your site administrator to obtain access."

It is possible zu work with a custom module without administrator right????

    Thanks a lot!!!!!!!

    Hi, guys.

For some reason you have to repair roles.

    Hi People,

I must make a Module for my Internship at the company, and I have to same problem to, I know only how this happen: If you change something in the module loader in a package and after that you deploying it again, than it happens, I hope that anybody knows how to fix this problem, or where you must searching?

A other solution is to make one package with one module, deploy it one time. And make the rest (like buttons/textfields) with the studio function.

    greetz,

    Stefan from Holland.

    Hi, Stefan.

Really it is a weird issue.

We have built several modules and we have never reported it before, but I know it can be fixed repairing roles.
I suppose it is because some configuration of your system, your stack or since user preference stored into Sugar.

    Hey Andre,

You said about that it is because of some configuration of my system?

I run SugarCRM now local on my machine, with:
    Apache V.2.0.63
    Mysql V.4.1.20
    PHP V.5.2.5
On what part of the system can I search?

    greetz,

    Stefan.

    Hi, Stefan

It could be related to data in tables user_preferences or config.
These table contains global and user preferences.

Often when some customer report some case in their system, weird like that, we make backup of table user_preferences and delete the entries related to that user.
    The problem almost always disappear.

I saw in an other topic the same about this problem, and that you "Andre" reply's with:
    http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showt...ghlight=module

I believe there are not roles enabling access to regular users to your custom module.
Perform the Repair Roles and try again.

I have the same problem, and maybe the other people also,
but, how can I do this, Repair Roles???

    Please Help...

    Greetz
