    Default SugarCRM: 10 Problems

    Hi everyone,

I have already signed up for the 30 Day Free Trial of Sugar Professional 5.0 version and below I put same problems I have after I started to do same tests and customization in the SugarCRM.

Please take a look in my system requirements.

    Microsoft Outlook:
1- I am using Microsoft Outlook for my clients and access the SME server using IMAP. Emails deleted in Microsoft Outlook is still marked with strikethrough, is there any solution to move the deleted emails in Outlook to Trash folder automatically?

2- Outgoing messages does not save automatically in the IMAP SENT folder, in fact they are going to the SENT folder in the LOCAL pst file.

    SUGAR CRM

    Emails: (SugarCRM email system)
    3- To download automatically all email messages when I open my email using SugarCRM, is it possible ? Also to download the Body messages in the SugarCRM;

4- Outgoing messages does not save automatically in the SENT folder

    Documents:
5- To change the content of the file after it has been saved inside of the SugarCRM, is it possible ?

    Accounts:
6- Create Account option: how to create the field relate to the other field. For example:
Field TypeA (Data Type: DropDown) with tree Sub types (Data Type: DropDown): 1, 2, 3
Field TypeB (Data Type: DropDown) with for Sub types (Data Type: DropDown): 4, 5, 6, 7

    Projects:
7- History option: Arrange the itens by date created and not by data modified.
8- History option: Email inside the history- Show also who sent the email (from option)
9- History option: Email inside the history- Problem with email's subject (Chinese character)

    Others problems:
10- Data insertion: Problem with different kinds of Font

Any information will be useful to me,

    thanks (all) in advance

It is a petty there is no answer to this topic!

Unfortunatly I can not help you!

But I also would like to add another problem:

On email the email does not read html emails. I got all html tags on the Message. A BIG mass!

    I use email with IMAP.

Many sugar users had/have your same question; try to look in forums for "related dropdown" or "dynamic dropdowns".
And if you are italian as I guess from your name, look at the italian forum too, there is at least a thread on this topic.

    caiociuffi,
    3) If you want all the emails to be imported, create a group mailbox in the admin section and select a partiuclar folder to be monitored and attach this group mailbox to a group folder and run the cron job. Ths process will import all the message in sugar system from the monitored folder ONLY and it will delete all the messages from that monitored folder. This facility should be used for the business purpose as all the email data including body will be available in the sugar system.
    4) Outgoing message will be stored in the SENT folder of the sugar client and not in the IMAP SENT folder of the mail server. In the future we will be adding this facility so that it will copy that email in the IMAP's SENT folder.
